Range of application and function
Low-voltage switchgear Olkha is intended for power reception and distribution of three-phase alternating current with 50 Hertz frequency, voltage 660/380/220 V in circuits with dead-earthed neutral and for electrical equipment control and its defense from short-circuits and overcharges.
Low-voltage switchgear is produced in metallic body equipped with stationary or carriage-type switches, stationary fuse disconnectors.
Service conditions
- Height above sea level – not more than 1000m;
- Ambient air temperature + 5 oС to + 40 oС;
- Relative humidity not more than 80% at + 15 oС;
- Ambient – non dangerously explosive, doesn’t contain current-conducting dust, aggressive gases and fumes of concentration wrecking materials and isolation;

Equipment fitted
RUNN Olkha standard modification is equipped by OEZ switching units (Siemens subsidiary), Modelion, ARION WL series. On request of the customer could be installed ABB, Moeller, Schneider Electric switching units.
Checklist
Checklist is determined by the requirements specification of the customer, by the RUNN Olkha questionnaire and, if necessary, by other documents.
RUNN checklist consists of:
- RUNN according to the order;
- Busbar bridges;
- Spare parts and instruments set;
- Fuses additional set;
- Main circuit diagrams;
- Secondary circuit diagram;
- Layout chart;
- Operating and mounting manual;
- Door keys;
- Log book with customer acceptance note;
- Log books, operating and mounting manuals for the equipment installed.
RUNN Olkha construction
RUNN Olkha design is composed of modular constructions and enables to mount cabinets of any configuration with stationary and pullout panels and of the circuits of any complexity. Standard RUNN Olkha modification is performed with one-side operating panel. On request of the customer it could be made with two-side operating panels. RUNN Olkha cabinets could be defined by standard circuit designs:
Basic
- Input cabinet;
- Sectional cabinet;
- Output cabinet;
Subsidiary (different needs)
- Cable cabinet;
- Street lighting panel;
- Auxiliary panel;
- Reactive power compensation cabinet;
- Automation and telemetry cabinet.
RUNN Olkha standard circuit design
Input cabinet is intended for service cable connection and power supply to sections and outgoing lines. Fitted with control and measuring devices. By default option RUNN Olkha is equipped by analogue devices voltmeter and amperemeter. On request it could be equipped with microprocessor multimeter (V, A, F, S, P, Q, cosφ,) with the possibility of data transfer by digital circuit. It is possible to assemble automatic load transfer system in the cabinet (with or without self-recovery to starting position).

- Input cabinet of reserve lead-in (with ALT);
- Input cabinet of independent power source (for example, diesel-generator substation) (with ALT).
Sectional cabinet provides collecting buses’ sectioning. It is possible to assemble automatic load transfer system in the cabinet (with or without self-recovery to starting position).

Output cabinet is intended for connection and defense of the outgoing lines. Usually used with cable cabinets. Another function is to feed consumers, automatation equipment, power input from independent sources and power distribution. By default option RUNN Olkha is equipped by analogue devices voltmeter and amperemeter. On request it could be equipped with microprocessor multimeter (V, A, F, S, P, Q, cosφ,) with the possibility of data transfer by digital circuit.

Switching units’ models:
- Standard modification;
- Pullout modification;
- Demountable modification;
Cable cabinet is intended for outgoing cables connection. Switching units can be installed both vertically and horizontally (except units of pullout modification).
Basic modifications:
- Linear cabinet with stationary panels (with switching units of stationary, pullout and dismantled modification);
- Linear cabinet with pullout panels.
Системы управления РУНН «Ольха»
Data collection for its transfer by digital circuits to control and power distribution systems is possible in RUNN Olkha. Any input switch and sectional switching units has a possibility of control from power distribution control system.
At least further signals can be transferred for any switch in RUNN Olkha:
- Switching on (control signal);
- Switching off (control signal);
- closed (status);
- disconnected (status);
- disconnection by overcharge (status);
- common falure (status);
- available for closing (status, circuit is operative).
In addition it is possible to transfer to higher control system the following information:
- about activation of protections enabled of different lines RUNN Olkha;
- about circuit parameters;
- about the settings of parameters of reactive power compensation.
There is a possibility of remote control of separate outgoing lines both by manual mode from controller desk and automatically in accordance with a set program.
Systems of electric motor control
Types of internal separation
Тype 2A:
provides separation of bus-bars and operating units from each other. External conductors’ clamps are not separated from bus-bars.
Тype 2B:
provides separation of operating units and bus-bars from external conductors’ clamps.
Тype 3A:
provides separation of operating units from each other and from bus-bars, external conductors’ clamps are separated from operating units but not from bus-bars or from each other.
TYPE 3B:
provides separation of operating units from each other and from bus-bars, external conductors’ clamps are separated from operating units but not from each other.
TYPE 4A:
provides separation of operating units from each other, bus-bars and external conductors’ clamps are in the same section with operating units.
TYPE 4B:
provides separation of operating units from each other, bus-bars and external conductors’ clamps are separated from each other too.
